Common Ground is Malaysia’s largest coworking community and leading workspace that has been established for more than 5 years. Their coworking spaces are designed to cater to the needs of modern workers, with focus on collaboration, innovation, and flexibility. As a coworking space, Common Ground faces high demands from its members for video conferencing services.

Common Ground aims to cater the needs of their members and ensuring that their coworking spaces remain innovative and relevant in the face of changing work trends. Their unique conference setup allows users to convert two conference rooms into a single, larger conference room or vice versa. This is to cater to members who need to use a single conference room or a combined conference room for larger groups (up to 35 participants). However, this setup presented challenges when it came to video conferencing, as the space needed a flexible and seamless system that would allow separate meetings to take place in each room without the fear of overlapping.

Shure’s Stem Ecosystem offers flexibility in the setup of the devices allowing users to create their ideal setup to fit the room and needs. The Stem Hub Express enabled the multiple units in each room to communicate with each other and function as one ecosystem. This flexibility allowed each conference room to be unique and cater to its own needs, while the entire POE+ powered system could be controlled with just a single network cable. It provides an elegant and clean setup that saves time and money.
