Kuala Lumpur, 15th August 2024 — The AV Technology Conference, organized by Mahajak Trio Electronic Sdn Bhd, took place on 15th August 2024 at the St Giles Hotel, The Garden Kuala Lumpur. Drawing over 260 participants, the conference showcased the latest advancements in Audio, Video, and Control over IP technologies. It brought together a diverse group of professionals, including AV and IT system integrators, representatives from the pro AV rental and retail sectors, governmental agencies, houses of worship, consultants, and audio engineers. Leading global brands such as Shure, Electro-Voice, Dynacord, RTS, Netgear, Q-SYS, Bosch, Visionary Solution, Dante, Soundcraft by Harman, AVer, and Absen were prominently featured. The event began with an opening address by Mahajak Trio Electronic’s Managing Director, Mr. David Yap, who emphasized the importance of the conference as a platform for exchanging ideas and exploring innovations that will shape the industry. Mr. Yap Yi An, Executive Director, provided an overview of the company’s growth from a car accessory business to the leader in the AV industry.
Throughout the day, multiple booths were set up by participating brands in the ballroom, allowing attendees to interact with industry experts and gain hands-on experience with the latest products. Presentations by Shure, Q-SYS, DANTE by Audinate, and Electro-Voice highlighted their latest product offerings, followed by live demonstrations and performances, which provided attendees with real-time insights into the capabilities of the showcased technologies. The first appearance of Electro-Voice top range line array, The X2 line array system was one of the highlights of the event. This event solidified Malaysia’s position as a key hub for advanced AV technology, providing invaluable insights and networking opportunities for industry professionals.
